Responsibilities
- Oversee all cost control activities across central stores and outlets
- Manage inventory control processes, stock movement monitoring, and recipe costing
- Monitor food and beverage wastage and identify opportunities for cost optimization
- Conduct periodic production yield tests and spot checks to ensure compliance with approved recipes and operating standards
- Perform detailed variance analysis on food cost, beverage cost, and inventory movements
- Investigate cost discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrective action
- Prepare and present timely cost control reports to management
- Maintain and update POS pricing structures and coordinate with delivery aggregators and system providers
- Prepare monthly Cost of Sales reports, menu engineering analysis, inventory reports, and other month end closing requirements
- Support operational teams in implementing best practices to improve efficiency and cost performance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a Cost Controller role within the F&B, restaurant, or hospitality industry
- Finance, Accounting, or related educational background preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, recipe costing, yield testing, menu engineering, and cost control procedures
- Hands on experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and delivery aggregator platforms
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail
- Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members
