Project Information
ACCIONA Precast Solutions designs and manufactures prestressed and reinforced concrete products for major infrastructure projects.
The role covers cost control and project controls for 70% of the work, with estimating and tender support comprising the remaining 30%.
The position reports to the Project Manager and is based at Yandina Creek.
Key Accountabilities
- Set up and maintain project cost control systems, including LinkedSite.
- Track project and bid expenditure against approved budgets.
- Manage cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and month-end reporting.
- Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and variance commentary.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, rate build-ups, and tender cost estimates.
- Issue requests for quotation and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Complete tender-to-project handover and establish baseline budgets.
Required Skills and Competencies
- A degree in Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a similar discipline is required.
- Experience on construction projects is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- High proficiency in Excel is required.
- SAP and Power BI are desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and data interpretation skills are required.
