- Ensure proper portion, presentation, and garnish
- Maintain food logs
- Monitor quality and quantity of food prepared
- Indicate when assistance is needed during busy periods
- Inform chef of surplus food items for daily specials
- Inform Food and Beverage service staff of menu changes and specials
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards
- Prepare cold foods
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, motivating, and coaching employees
Requirements
- Technical diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance
