- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Ensure consistent portioning and quality of dishes
- Assist with menu planning, ingredient preparation, and inventory checks
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during meal periods
- Properly store and rotate food items, adhering to HSE procedures
- Support in training and guiding junior kitchen team members
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or with Tagalog Cuisines
- Willing to be assigned in Ras Laffan
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and portion control
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, HSE practices, and proper storage
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Basic numeracy and organizational skills for stock control and documentation
- Relevant culinary training, certificate, or diploma preferred
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
