Role Description
Full-time, on-site Cook role based in a villa in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates.
Prepare varied dishes according to menu specifications and villa standards while maintaining quality, presentation, and portion control.
Responsibilities
- Organize ingredients, maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Store food and supplies properly, assist with menu planning and inventory management, and respond to special dietary requests.
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet resident needs.
Qualifications
- Professional experience as a Cook is required.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation is required.
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and HACCP or equivalent practices is required.
- Ability to follow recipes, menu guidelines, and plating standards while maintaining consistency and quality is required.
- Good time management, efficient work practices, and basic English communication skills are required.
- A relevant culinary certification or diploma is advantageous, and prior cuisine experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
- Gross salary is AED 2,000 per month.
- Accommodation, visa, and meals are provided.
