- Prepare, review, understand, and administer project contracts, subcontract agreements, work orders, LPOs, and related contractual documents.
- Prepare, review, and track contractual correspondence, notices, claims, and responses.
- Coordinate with project teams, procurement, planning, commercial, and accounts departments for contract related matters.
- Maintain proper records of project contractual documents, variations, payment terms, deliverables, and obligations.
- Prepare and submit variation claims, extension of time claims, cost claims, and related supporting documents.
- Review subcontractor quotations, agreements, scope of work, and payment terms before approval.
- Monitor contractual deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in identifying contractual risks and reporting the same to management.
- Prepare professional letters, reports, contract summaries, and internal notes as required.
- Ensure that all contract documentation is properly filed, tracked, and updated.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contracts administration within the UAE MEP construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, variations, claims, and project documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong drafting skills for contractual letters, notices, and official correspondence.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Job Summary
- Alborkan Global General Contracting L.L.C is seeking a qualified and experienced Contracts Engineer / Contracts Officer with strong experience in the UAE MEP construction industry.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting contract administration, reviewing contractual documents, preparing correspondence, monitoring variations, claims, subcontractor agreements, and ensuring proper contractual compliance across ongoing MEP projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, Review, understand, and administer project contracts, subcontract agreements, work orders, LPOs, and related contractual documents.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contracts administration within the UAE MEP construction industry.
- Mandatory experience in MEP contracting / construction projects in the UAE.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, subcontract agreements, variations, claims, and project documentation.
- Good understanding of MEP project execution, commercial terms, and contractual procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong drafting skills for contractual letters, notices, and official correspondence.
- Good coordination, documentation, and follow up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple project related contractual matters.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
- Prior experience with MEP contractors, construction companies, or engineering firms is mandatory.
- Candidates should be detail oriented, professional, and capable of maintaining proper contractual records.
- Ability to coordinate confidently with project teams, management, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and consultants.
Salary Package
- AED 3,500 – AED 6,000 per month, depending on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.
