Job Title: Contract & Vendor Management Position: Lead Systems Engineer - Contract/Vendor Management Experience: 8+ Yrs Category: IT Infrastructure Main location: Bangalore/Chennai Position ID: J0726-0897 Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary: The vendor management is part of a major IT transformation, driven by the evolution and progressive convergence of the CLIENT environments, while complying with Client standards and requirements. The role plays a key part in the Sunrise transformation: major change in the target operating model (offshore), steering with local iT in each country the transformation and then ensuring service continuity, technical consistency, support quality, and proper integration of production, security, and documentation requirements in a complex, multi-entity and multi-contract environment. Key Responsibilities : 1. Lead Contract Management & Supplier Governance for Client outsourcing program across multiple countries. Assessment of existing contracts & suppliers 2. Own and manage infrastructure outsourcing contracts and vendor portfolio, ensuring alignment with Client & SG/GTE governance standards 3. Follow up consumption and compliance of our usage of the provider’s solution 4. Manage performance, including SLA tracking, cost optimization, and value realization from vendors 5. Challenge suppliers on costs, delivery quality, risk, and compliance, ensuring contractual obligations are enforced 6. Drive savings realization through supplier consolidation, service convergence, and efficiency initiatives 7. Provide central oversight and reporting on contract performance, financials, risks, and compliance to senior stakeholders. Prepare with Efficiency managers the validation steps for all contract renewals & transformation 8. Act as a key interface between central Client, GTE, vendors and local country teams 9. Develop a strong, open and proactive working relationship with the Service Delivery team Required Skills: Technical Skills 12+ years of experience in Contract Management, Vendor Governance, or IT Outsourcing programs Proven expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure outsourcing contracts (multi-country / multi-vendor environments) Strong understanding of SLA/KPI management, License management, commercial models, and cost optimization levers Experience working with global suppliers (IBM , Microsoft … ) and driving performance accountability Strong knowledge of risk, compliance, and contractual governance frameworks Ability to manage complex transformations and transitions, ensuring continuity and risk mitigation Excellent negotiation, analytical, and financial acumen with focus on value delivery and savings realization Posture & Soft Skills High level of autonomy & proactivity Strong stakeholder management skills with exposure to CxO / senior leadership interactions Problem-solving & analysis Strong ability to manage pressure and critical situations
