Role Summary
Full-time permanent Contract Manager role based on site with the project team in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports contract management, claims, risk mitigation, compliance, and contractual issue resolution for an infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support claims management involving the project company, offtaker, and contractor.
- Review contracts to identify risks and opportunities and advise on contractual implications.
- Ensure contract management aligns with project contracts and regulatory requirements.
- Develop risk management strategies and procedures for contract-related risks.
- Negotiate with the EPC contractor to resolve issues and ensure compliance with contract terms and the PPA.
- Manage notifications, changes, contract communications, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project, construction, owner's engineer, and legal stakeholders on critical correspondence.
- Administer project bonds, guarantees, and insurances in line with contractual obligations.
- Monitor deliverables, milestones, commitments, claims, performance, and other contract KPIs.
- Brief project staff on contractual obligations and advise on queries and issue resolution.
- Review and approve contractual changes resulting from change requests with relevant parties.
- Maintain legal documents and support lessons learned and return-of-experience activities.
