Role overview
Contract Analyst supporting the Corporate Services Contracts Team for Information Systems indirect spend.
The scope includes software applications, professional services, hardware, SCADA, network projects, and telecom.
The assignment runs from October 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027, in Calgary on a hybrid basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead demand planning, strategic sourcing, tactical acquisition, and project sourcing for assigned Information Systems categories.
- Run RFx processes and coordinate bid evaluations with clients and vendors.
- Use SAP, Ariba, and BI Warehouse to implement and track sourcing events.
- Translate business needs into solicitation documents, requirements, and evaluation plans.
- Conduct market research and make sourcing recommendations.
- Negotiate contract awards and coordinate approvals.
- Manage supplier performance, relationships, and contract disputes.
- Represent Information Systems in stakeholder consultations and internal working groups.
- Resolve procurement disputes and proactively address stakeholder and supplier concerns.
- Support training and guidance on procurement and category management methodology.
