Job Purpose
Support the administration and management of construction contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure proper contractual documentation, correspondence, compliance, and follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer construction contracts and maintain contractual records and documentation.
- Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices, and responses to contractors and consultants.
- Review contract documents and support interpretation of contractual requirements and obligations.
- Monitor contractual risks, deadlines, variations, Extension of Time claims, additional payments, and counterclaims.
- Draft or support contract amendments, memoranda of understanding, and settlement agreements.
- Coordinate with project, commercial, planning, and construction teams on contractual matters.
- Support the Contracts Manager in day-to-day project contract administration.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration.
- Experience with FIDIC contracts is required.
- Strong contractual drafting and correspondence skills.
