Job Purpose
Manage cost control, contract administration, and commercial activities for construction projects within a PM/CM framework.
Support financial monitoring, contractual compliance, and cost-related decisions to protect project financial health.
Cost Control and Estimation
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects.
- Monitor actual versus budgeted costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate contractor claims and variations through accurate cost analysis.
- Conduct or assist with value engineering assessments to improve project efficiency.
Contract Administration
- Review and manage contractual agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to analyze bids and negotiate contracts.
- Prepare contract documents, including payment certificates and claims.
- Assist in resolving disputes involving contracts, scope, and financial claims.
Quantity Surveying and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain Bills of Quantities and track project costs.
