Role Overview

Müller's Solutions is seeking a Containerization Platform Engineer to support secure, efficient, and reliable containerized applications.

The role operates 24x7x365 and covers deployment, configuration, management, automation, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting of container platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement image security, network security, access control, security assessments, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Deploy and configure containerization platforms and provide technical assistance to users, developers, and operations teams.
  • Resolve issues involving containerized applications, networking, storage, and orchestration.
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for application and DevOps teams using the platform.
  • Monitor container health, performance metrics, logs, resource utilization, availability, and scalability.
  • Create automation scripts and tools for environment management, deployment, and resource scaling.
  • Work with development teams to optimize container images and application deployment.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 operating system, network, and storage teams on infrastructure challenges.
  • Document processes, architecture, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Keep current with trends and technologies in containerization and cloud services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, preferably Docker and Kubernetes.
  • At least 1-2 years of direct hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is essential.
  • Three to five years of relevant DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering experience is preferred.
  • A solid grasp of microservices architecture and deployment methodologies is required.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation is required.
  • Familiarity with Terraform or Ansible is advantageous.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration abilities are essential.
