Role Overview
Provide extensive enterprise support for the RHEL server environment around the clock.
Operate and maintain RHEL servers, Pacemaker clusters, and SAP environments.
Ensure system stability through monitoring, patch management, troubleshooting, and daily operations.
System Administration
- Install, configure, manage, operate, and maintain RHEL 7, 8, and 9 servers and clusters.
- Monitor performance, review logs, perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates.
- Support SAP, SAP HANA, and SAP S/4HANA environments hosted on RHEL.
- Manage Red Hat HA Extension and Pacemaker clusters.
Security and Operations
- Apply Linux security practices for firewalls, user permissions, file integrity, and virus protection.
- Support backup and recovery processes and maintain data integrity and availability.
- Manage user and group accounts and implement account policies.
- Contribute to operating system upgrades, lifecycle planning, and decommissioning.
