Role Overview

Müller's Solutions is seeking a Containerization Platform Engineer to support its remote team.

The role covers design, implementation, administration, security, and scalability of containerized applications and environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Create and manage secure container images and deployments using security and performance best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize container performance and resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments and updates.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate containerization into the application lifecycle.
  • Keep current with containerization and cloud service trends and technologies.
  • Document processes, workflows, and best practices for container management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience is required.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift is essential.
  • 3-5 years of relevant DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and deployment methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is required.
  • Proficiency in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
  • Terraform or Ansible familiarity is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills are required.
