- Perform advanced surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, retinal surgery, and corneal transplants with precision
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to develop integrated patient care plans
- Utilize cutting edge diagnostic equipment and technologies to enhance patient outcomes and monitor progress
- Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Lead clinical research projects and contribute to advancements in ophthalmology through evidence based practices
- Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide expert opinions on complex cases
- Train and mentor junior medical staff and residents
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote eye health awareness
Requirements
- Medical degree and specialization in ophthalmology
- Experience in performing advanced surgical procedures including cataract surgery, retinal surgery, and corneal transplants
- Proficiency in using cutting edge diagnostic equipment and technologies
- Ability to collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals
- Experience in clinical research and evidence based practices
