Role Overview
NRL is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Hematopathologist to provide expert diagnostic services for hematological and lymphoid disorders.
The role includes accurate, timely, and clinically relevant pathology interpretation in a reference laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and report complex hematopathology cases, including bone marrow biopsies, lymph node pathology, and peripheral blood disorders.
- Integrate morphology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular findings into comprehensive diagnostic reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions and provide consultative support to clinicians.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality, accreditation, and patient safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, teaching, and mentoring of junior staff as required.
- Support the development and standardization of diagnostic protocols in line with international best practices.
