Responsibilities
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a wide range of gynecological conditions including menstrual disorders, PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, PID, menopausal disorders, and cervical/ovarian abnormalities
- Perform routine gynecological examinations, cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, and preventive women's health assessments
- Perform gynecological surgical procedures including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, hysterectomy, myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, D&C, and other minimally invasive procedures
- Evaluate and manage infertility, reproductive health concerns, and family planning services where applicable
- Provide comprehensive pre operative, intra operative, and post operative patient care
- Counsel patients on diagnosis, treatment options, preventive care, and long term health management
- Collaborate with obstetricians, reproductive medicine specialists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and CME
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to departmental education and service development
Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification
- Board Certification, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized Consultant qualification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Minimum 5–10 years of post specialization experience at Consultant level
- Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) – Abu Dhabi Consultant license
- Strong expertise in medical and surgical gynecology, including minimally invasive gynecological procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision making skills
- Commitment to delivering evidence based, patient centered women's healthcare
