- We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join our hospitals in UAE.
- The ideal candidate will specialize in the assessment and management of high-risk pregnancies, focusing on fetal diagnosis and therapy.
- This role involves working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, geneticists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and fetus.
- Key Responsibilities* Conduct detailed fetal assessments using advanced ultrasound and diagnostic techniques.
- Diagnose and manage fetal anomalies, growth disorders, and other high-risk pregnancy conditions.
- Perform invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal blood sampling when indicated.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment and management plans.
- Provide counseling and support to expectant parents regarding fetal conditions and potential interventions.
- Participate in clinical research, training, and quality improvement initiatives within fetal medicine.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialist training and board certification in Fetal Medicine or Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Valid UAE medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure to practice in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in fetal medicine or a related specialty.
- Proficiency in advanced fetal imaging and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures.
- Excellent communication and counseling skills to effectively support patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
- Strong research and academic background is preferred.
