Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care for individuals and families across all age groups
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct preventive health assessments, routine screenings, and health promotion activities
- Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, asthma, thyroid disorders, obesity, and metabolic disorders
- Provide counseling on preventive medicine, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and wellness
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when required
- Provide continuity of care and comprehensive follow up for patients with complex medical needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and Continuing Medical Education (CME)
- Support teaching and mentoring of junior physicians and contribute to service development
Requirements
- MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification
- Board Certification, Fellowship, Arab Board, MRCGP, or equivalent recognized qualification in Family Medicine
- Minimum 5 10 years of post specialization experience at Consultant level
- Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi Consultant license
- Strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and patient management skills
- Commitment to delivering high quality, patient centered, evidence based healthcare

Overview
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Family Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, evidence based primary healthcare services, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and long term management of patients across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care for individuals and families across all age groups.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct preventive health assessments, routine screenings, and health promotion activities.
- Manage chronic diseases including Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Cardiovascular diseases, Asthma, Thyroid disorders, Obesity, and metabolic disorders.
- Provide counseling on preventive medicine, nutrition, lifestyle modification, and wellness.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists when required.
- Provide continuity of care and comprehensive follow up for patients with complex medical needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals, family medicine centers, or primary healthcare networks.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional expertise in Lifestyle Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Women's Health, Geriatrics, or Chronic Disease Management is an advantage.
