About the Role
SEHA seeks an experienced Consultant in Emergency Medicine to lead clinical care, supervise junior staff, and ensure high-quality evidence-based treatment. Candidates must have an MBBS, specialty board certification, and a valid DOH license.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the delivery of high quality, evidence based care in Emergency Medicine
- Conduct patient examinations, take medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments
- Oversee clinical activities of junior medical staff and participate in their instruction and supervision
- Liaise with other medical specialties and participate in multi disciplinary meetings
- Participate in out of hours on call coverage on a rotational basis
- Accurately document clinical information and comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
- Participate in clinical audits, performance management, and risk management
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school
- Completion of a structured specialty training program (e.g., Board Certification, Fellowship of a Royal College)
- Minimum 3 7 years of post specialty clinical experience
- Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license to practice
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities
