Construction Technician

Construction Technician will be expected to perform project inspection for plant/compressor station or pipeline facilities to assure completion of the project in accordance with the contract documents, drawings, specifications, codes and governmental regulations.

Must be capable of understanding existing and proposed facilities and be capable of reconnaissance work required to scope out proposed plans and facilities.

• Read drawings and material list to understand layout work and use survey equipment
• Witness hydrotesting and concrete testing, etc.
• Provide as-built data for and possess thorough knowledge of, the project completion package.

Required equipment:

• Device with the ability for taking and providing daily pictures as documentation of inspected activities.
• Daily Logbook for taking daily notes and noting any issues
• Laptop computer with reliable internet service for remote work locations for sending daily reports to client’s Project Engineer and organizing completion reports
