Client of Brunel seeks a Construction Supervisor (Piping) for a project in Doha, Qatar. The role involves supervising EPIC contractor's piping installation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Supervise EPIC contractor's piping installation activities for process and utility piping systems
- Attend Requests For Inspections (RFIs) and sign off inspection and test reports
- Lead EPIC construction contractor on mechanical aspects of piping works
- Supervise piping installation, line check, punch clearing, hydrotest, and re instatement
- Manage final mechanical completion inspections and punch closing
- Supervise pre commissioning activities and ensure safety and quality
- Participate in PSSR and support operations pre start up activities
- Maintain daily progress records and report anomalies to senior supervisor
Requirements
- 10 15 years of experience in construction supervision
- Experience with piping installation (process and utility piping)
- Good knowledge of P&IDs, GA, ISOs, piping standard drawings, and equipment layout drawings
- Ability to lead safety and quality inspections

Key Responsibilities
- Acts as a safety leader, ensuring EPIC Contractor's work in compliance to Company Life Saving Rules and all safety and environmental regulations
- Report to Discipline Construction Lead/Senior Construction Supervisor on main issues, events, progress, trends and recommendations
- Assist functional supervisor in review/approval of Construction documentation including Method Statements, JHAs, MARs etc.
- Supervise all EPIC contractors piping installation activities for process and utility piping systems
- Attend Requests For Inspections (RFIs) as per approved ITPs including Material Receiving Inspections
- Ensure quality of manufacturing and erection works, dimensional accuracy and orientation
- Lead EPIC construction contractor(s) on all mechanical aspects of piping works
- Supervise execution of piping installation, line check, punch clearing, hydrotest and re instatement
- Manage and lead final mechanical completion inspections and punch closing
- Supervise pre Com activities to ensure safety and quality
- Undertake technical integrity and HSE reviews/audits
- Participate in process safety management and PSSR
Additional Duties
- Co ordinate mobilization of contractors on site
- Carryout daily checks on contractor's staff and work
- Maintain a daily record of progress (daily diary) noting special comments
- Report work anomalies or contractual deviations to Sr Supervisor
- Sign work permits on behalf of Company and ensure contractor's compliance
- Participate in development of as built drawings/documentation
- Accountable for supervising contractor's work, inspecting work, reporting problems and preventing accidents
- Liaise and report with QA/QC Inspector on quality related matters
