Role Description
- The Construction Manager – Minor Works is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of minor construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards.
- This full time, on site role in the United Arab Emirates involves supervising site activities, coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, and managing day to day construction operations.
- The role includes preparing and reviewing project plans, monitoring progress, resolving site issues, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- The Construction Manager – Minor Works will also track project costs, support procurement of materials and services, and provide regular reports on project status to senior management and clients.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations for multiple simultaneous minor works (e.g., small excavations, fencing, pipeline connections, and site clearing).
- Direct foremen, surveyors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to scope, budget, and project timelines.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure alignment with engineering designs and Hills & Fort Construction quality benchmarks.
- Enforce strict health and safety procedures on site to minimize incidents across varying work zones.
- Oversee material procurement, equipment, and labor distribution to maintain high productivity.
- Coordinate with UAE municipalities, developers, and homeowners for site permits, inspections, and project handovers.
- Generate regular reports on job status, track variation orders, and manage potential on site risk.
