Site operations

• Lead overall MEP site operations, particularly HVAC activities.
• Plan and supervise chillers, AHUs, FCUs, ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation and controls installation.
• Oversee daily site activities, manpower, productivity and materials.
• Manage site mobilisation, logistics planning and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate with civil, structural and architectural teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors and internal teams.

Safety and quality

• Implement HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and maintain safe working conditions.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Ensure housekeeping and overall site discipline.
• Maintain construction safety and QA/QC practices.

Delivery and coordination

• Monitor the project schedule and ensure approved milestones are achieved.
• Manage subcontractor performance, work quality and timely completion.
• Supervise HVAC testing and commissioning and support smooth project handover.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and local authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Maintain site documentation, daily progress reports and cost control records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ten to fifteen years of MEP construction experience, including at least five years in a managerial or site leadership role.
• Strong hands-on HVAC experience covering district cooling, chilled water systems and VRF.
• Good knowledge of UAE authority regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Primavera or MS Project.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, hospital or industrial projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, planning, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Sound knowledge of construction safety and QA/QC practices and the ability to manage multiple activities under tight deadlines.
