Role Overview
The Electrical Construction Manager will execute, supervise, and deliver substation works within an oil and gas project.
The role focuses on high-voltage substations, electrical systems, MEP coordination, safety, schedule, quality, and project specifications.
The position is based at a project site within an oil and gas facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical construction activities for GIS/AIS substations, transformers, cables, and protection systems.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage equipment rated at 132 kV or 220 kV as applicable.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, civil, mechanical, E&I, telecom, and MEP interfaces.
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site teams while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Monitor progress, implement recovery plans, and manage site logistics and equipment preservation.
- Review method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and technical queries.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization readiness, risk resolution, and technical site solutions.
