- Liaise with event partners, Ministry and committee members
- Organise and run committee meetings to determine conference themes, topics, session chairs, and speakers
- Conduct telephone and in person research with stakeholders to develop programme agendas
- Join sponsorship and exhibition sales calls and meetings with existing and potential clients
- Build an agenda that is commercially viable for both sponsorship and delegate sales
- Recruit C suite, regulator and government speakers to the programme faculty
- Research and provide strategic information required to market and sell conferences
- Attend conferences to promote, gather market intelligence, and network
- Manage the call for papers process and session selection
Requirements
- Experience in conference or event management
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to build commercially viable agendas
