Role Overview
Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings based on design specifications, site requirements, and applicable standards.
Support engineers and architects in delivering high-quality drawings for construction and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Develop architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings according to project scope.
- Prepare shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Modify and revise drawings based on consultant, client, or site feedback.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams for design clarifications.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and basic BOQ preparation when required.
- Support project teams in meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of technical documents.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D is mandatory.
- Knowledge of drafting standards and construction drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.
Software Knowledge
- Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or 3D rendering experience is preferred depending on discipline.
- MS Office knowledge is listed as relevant software knowledge.
