Role Description

  • The Compliance Manager – Digital Assets is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
  • This position oversees compliance frameworks and policies related to digital asset management, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
  • Day to day responsibilities include monitoring digital asset activities, reviewing and updating procedures, conducting risk assessments, and performing compliance checks on metadata and asset management workflows.
  • The role collaborates with legal, operations, IT, and library services teams to design and maintain robust controls, support audits, and deliver staff training on compliance requirements.
  • The Compliance Manager also prepares reports for senior leadership and regulators, addresses compliance incidents, and supports continuous improvement in digital asset governance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Digital Asset Management and Digital Assets, with experience overseeing compliance and governance for digital repositories.
  • Strong knowledge of Metadata and Asset Management practices, including standards, taxonomy, and lifecycle management within regulated environments.
  • Background in Library Services or related disciplines, with skills in organizing, cataloging, and controlling access to digital collections.
  • Solid understanding of banking or financial services regulations, particularly those affecting digital platforms and data protection.
  • Experience developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting risk assessments, and supporting internal and external audits.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on site in Dubai, collaborate across functions, and manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Management, Compliance, Finance, or a related field; professional compliance or risk certifications are an advantage.
