About the Role
Object 1 Real Estate is seeking a Compliance Manager with real estate development experience to join their team in Dubai. You will develop compliance policies, monitor UAE regulations, conduct audits, and manage regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor and ensure compliance with UAE laws, regulations, and industry requirements relevant to real estate development
- Identify compliance risks and work with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation measures
- Keep management informed of regulatory changes and their potential impact
- Review contracts, agreements, and business processes to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Conduct compliance reviews, audits, and investigations, and follow up on corrective actions
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Deliver compliance awareness and training programs to employees
- Act as main point of contact with regulators, auditors, legal advisors, and government authorities
- Support initiatives related to corporate governance, anti bribery and corruption, AML, and ethical business practices
Requirements
- At least 5 years of compliance experience within the UAE, preferably with a reputable organization
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written
- Hands on experience working in the real estate development sector
- Strong knowledge of UAE compliance regulations, corporate governance, risk management, and AML requirements
- Experience in developing compliance frameworks, conducting audits and risk assessments, and managing regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage multiple priorities
- Professional compliance certifications (ICA, CAMS, or similar) would be an advantage
