- Advise the Board and executive management on corporate governance matters and statutory obligations
- Ensure the organization complies with best practices in governance and regulatory frameworks
- Develop, review, and implement corporate governance policies and procedures
- Support board and committee meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and documentation
- Ensure the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements within the UAE and wider GCC
- Provide timely updates and guidance to management on legal and regulatory developments
- Support internal compliance audits and risk mitigation initiatives
- Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory filings and regulatory documentation
- Ensure timely filing of annual reports, financial statements, and trade licence renewals
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, government bodies, and external advisors where required
- Maintain and update statutory registers, including register of shareholders, directors, and other corporate records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Commerce, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a company secretarial or similar governance/compliance role
- Proven experience working within a corporate environment in the UAE or wider GCC region
- Strong knowledge or interest in company law, corporate governance, and compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of information with accuracy and efficiency
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
- A professional qualification in Company Secretarial Practice (preferred)

Role Overview
