Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food daily in the pastry and bakery section under the direction of the senior chef.
- Maintain product consistency, quality, presentation, and sufficient levels during service.
- Keep kitchen and preparation areas clean and handle kitchen equipment and tools correctly.
- Follow hygiene, stock rotation, storage, temperature control, pest control, and reporting procedures.
- Help prevent food waste and overproduction and minimize orders from stores or supplies.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in the same or a similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
