Duties & Activities

  • Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
  • Develops culinary knowledge to produce high quality meals
  • Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
  • Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
  • Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary
  • Plates meal items under chef de partie supervision
  • Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies
  • Assists in food preparation process
  • Cooks and prepares elements of high quality dishes
  • Assists other Chefs
  • Understands and adheres to all CORE’s policies including Code of Conduct

Requirements for Role

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher certification in culinary arts preferred
  • 1 year of work experience in a similar role
  • Associate degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts is advantageous

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent hygiene standards
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills

Pay

  • SAR 2,500.00 SAR 2,800.00 per hour
