Role Overview
The Culinary team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi delivers dining experiences across multiple restaurants and culinary concepts.
The role supports the daily operation of an assigned kitchen section and contributes to food quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
The role reports to the Junior Sous Chef and works with a team of chefs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Ensure mise en place is fully prepared and organized for all service periods.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and portion control during food preparation and service.
- Support and guide junior culinary associates in maintaining kitchen standards and operational efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and properly use and care for equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a professional culinary environment focused on quality and consistency.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations.
- Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
