Assistant Communications Manager

General Information

Communications and Marketing Duties

• Oversee Rosewood Jeddah social media channels and create an annual content calendar.
• Manage the hotel website and online media, including TripAdvisor, to keep information updated and aligned with brand standards.
• Create hotel collateral, food and beverage promotional visuals, menus, advertising, and festive season brochures.
• Support marketing resources, events, activities, and campaigns for rooms, food and beverage, spa, and accommodation businesses.
• Develop creative concepts that reflect the positioning and personality of each restaurant or business.
• Support the launch marketing campaign by market segment and identify new revenue tools and niche marketing ideas.

Partnerships and Coordination

• Engage operational teams and incorporate their ideas into the marketing and social media agenda.
• Work with banks, airlines, retail operations, and other third parties on mutually beneficial marketing activities.
• Ensure campaigns are approved according to the hotel communications strategy.
• Coordinate the event calendar with the website and e-commerce strategy.

Reporting and Administration

• Build effective databases and maintain accurate guest data integrity.
• Prepare statistical reports showing return on investment from key marketing initiatives.
• Prepare monthly revenue reports covering historical and future trends for rooms, food and beverage, and conference and banquet operations.
• Complete administrative tasks such as complimentary and entertainment forms, database updates, and purchase-order follow-up.

Standards and Compliance

• Work within corporate identity guidelines and the graphic standards manual.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Ensure standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
