Role Overview
Work as a Commis I in the Club Lounge Kitchen at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.
Report to the Junior Sous Chef and support the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section.
Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to established recipes, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to Rosewood culinary standards and recipes.
- Ensure mise en place is organized and fully prepared for all service periods.
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor product quality, consistency, portion control, and presentation.
- Support and guide Commis 2 and Commis 3 associates in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen while caring properly for equipment.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a professional kitchen within a hotel, resort, or high-quality restaurant environment.
- Passion for culinary excellence and pride in producing high-quality dishes.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to perform efficiently under pressure.
