Role Overview
The Team Member Cafeteria Commis Chef prepares nutritious and appealing meals that support the wellbeing and satisfaction of Hilton team members.
The role is based in Doha and contributes to a welcoming staff dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily team member meals according to approved menus and recipes.
- Maintain food quality, taste, presentation, portion control, and kitchen and serving-area cleanliness.
- Monitor stock, assist with ordering and inventory control, and use FIFO storage rotation to minimize waste.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and sanitation regulations.
- Support team member events, celebrations, and themed meals.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to provide an excellent dining experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen, staff cafeteria, or similar food-service environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Strong teamwork, communication, organizational, ownership, accountability, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and support operational needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming team member environment.
