Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a wide variety of high quality pastries
- Maintain consistent standards in production, presentation, and portion control
- Support the daily operation of the pastry section including mise en place, production planning, and minimizing wastage
- Assist in supervising and guiding junior staff when required
- Manage inventory, ingredient ordering, and stock rotation
- Handle administrative duties including daily production reports, stock reports, recipe documentation, and food safety records
- Use computer systems proficiently for reporting, Excel sheets, and other admin tasks
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as Commis Pastry or similar
- Proven leadership skills and previous experience in handling or guiding a team
- Strong technical knowledge in pastry techniques
- Good computer skills – Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in reporting and administrative work
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluent in English
- Valid Food Safety Certificate is plus

Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commis Chef Pastry to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong technical pastry expertise and the ability to support and guide a team. This role also requires computer skills and experience in reporting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute a wide variety of high quality pastries.
- Maintain consistent standards in production, presentation, and portion control.
