Key Accountabilities
- Support the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations.
- Work according to menu specifications provided by the Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
- Keep the work area clean and hygienic according to cafe rules.
- Control food stock and food cost within the assigned section.
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production across different kitchen sections.
- Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate supervisors to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain consistent preparation quality and stay current with products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
- Coordinate with and participate in other sections' requirements, cleanliness, wastage, and cost control.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- Cookery experience in a commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of safe food handling principles.
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
- Understanding of work health and safety guidelines, procedures, and responsibilities.
Key Performance Metrics
Compliance with standard recipe cards.
Wait times are within reasonable standards.
Customer feedback.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 to AED 3,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
