SUSHISAMBA Dubai is seeking an experienced Commis 3 - Robata to join its dynamic culinary team.
The venue offers a high-volume, elevated dining experience combining Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian flavours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing vegetables, meats, seafood, marinades and garnishes.
- Complete assigned mise en place under the supervision of senior chefs.
- Support the safe preparation and operation of the Robata section.
- Follow recipes, portioning instructions and presentation standards.
- Store and label ingredients correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift.
- Follow HACCP, hygiene and food-safety procedures.
- Assist the wider culinary team when required.
Ideal Candidate
- Culinary training or entry-level professional kitchen experience.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Interest in Robata, Japanese cuisine and charcoal-grilling techniques.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork, discipline and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
