SUSHISAMBA Dubai is located on the 51st floor of The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm.
The venue combines Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavours in a high-volume, elevated dining environment.
The restaurant is positioned within Dubai's luxury lifestyle dining scene.
Role Overview
The venue is urgently seeking an experienced Commis 1 to join its dynamic culinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily mise en place accurately and on time.
- Prepare ingredients and dishes according to approved recipes.
- Support senior chefs during preparation and service.
- Maintain consistent portioning, taste, and presentation.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and correct storage.
- Follow HACCP, food-safety, and kitchen-hygiene requirements.
- Keep the assigned section clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Assist other kitchen sections when required.
Ideal Candidate
- At least 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Previous experience as a Commis 1 or strong Commis 2.
- Exposure to an upscale, fine-dining, or high-volume restaurant is sought.
