Responsibilities
- Follow standard recipes and plating guides at all times
- Provide daily market list to Executive Sous Chef and control goods received
- Assist and propose special food promotions and events
- Interact with Outlet Supervisors and explain food items
- Control food wastage without compromising quality
- Maintain records and documentation as per operational control requirements
- Maintain intradepartmental communication via log books and memoranda
- Perform according to operational standards and maintain proper grooming
- Attend training classes as per schedule
- Cooperate and respect within the team and other departments
Requirements
- Basic overall knowledge and ability to fill in for another chef
- Ability to follow standard recipes and plating guides
- Proactive and good judgement in challenging situations
- Professionalism and integrity

Job Description
- Ability, knowledge and skill to fill in for another chef when absent from another station.
- Ensure standard recipes and plating guides are followed at all times.
- Provide Executive Sous Chef with daily market list and control goods received.
- Provide Executive Sous Chef with recipes and costing as required.
- Assist and propose special Food Promotions, Events and other Food related activities.
- Interact and communicate with Outlet Supervisors daily and explain food items.
- Control food wastage without compromising food quality.
- Recommend changes in systems and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service levels.
- Maintain records and documentation as per operational control requirements.
- Maintain excellent intradepartmental communication via log books and memoranda.
- Perform as per Operational Standards and maintain proper grooming.
- Attend training classes as per schedule and show cooperation within the team.
