Support the Chef and kitchen team with food preparation, cooking, food quality, hygiene, and daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie and senior kitchen team with food preparation and cooking.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes, portion sizes, and standards.
- Apply basic cooking techniques and maintain food quality and presentation.
- Assist with mise en place for daily operations and service.
- Store, label, and handle food products according to food safety standards.
- Maintain workstation, equipment, and surrounding area cleanliness and hygiene.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and preparation procedures.
- Monitor ingredient quality and freshness and report issues.
- Support busy service periods and minimize food waste.
- Follow company policies, HACCP guidelines, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with receiving and checking food supplies when required.
Requirements
- Minimum one to two years of experience as a Commis 1 or in a similar kitchen role.
- Previous casual dining restaurant experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of food preparation, basic cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,200 to AED 2,500 per month.
