Role Overview
Maristo Interior Design is seeking an Accounts Executive - Payables to support its financial operations.
The role focuses on invoice processing, reconciliations, payment runs, supplier communication, closing activities, and audit support.
Responsibilities
- Review and post invoices in the ERP system.
- Reconcile aggregator, card, cash, and bank records.
- Verify that required documents are complete and approved before payments are executed.
- Prepare periodic payment runs, schedule timing to maximize credit terms, and submit runs for approval.
- Build supplier relationships and respond to supplier inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing and maintain timely, accurate financial data under IFRS and company policies.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Prepare and manage prepaid and accrual schedules.
- Understand the balance-sheet and profit-and-loss impact of account activity and financial statement classifications.
- Perform other work assigned by the Manager or CFO.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- One to two years of accounting work experience.
- Basic knowledge of UAE VAT law or home-country tax laws.
