The role supports kitchen operations through cleaning, food preparation, stock management, and cooperation with senior kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep kitchen and food areas clean and safe at all times.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Stock and restock kitchen items and keep the workstation organized.
- Label items correctly with dates.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation while meeting quality standards.
- Follow the guidance of the Chef de Partie and Commis 1 during busy service.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation practices is expected.
- The candidate should work well under the direction of senior kitchen staff.
- The candidate should collaborate effectively and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Compensation
