- Lead and manage all commercial activities related to MEP packages across high rise construction projects
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, variations, and commercial agreements
- Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flows to ensure financial targets are achieved
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support procurement activities
- Manage valuation submissions, progress payments, and final account settlements
- Review and assess variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and contractual entitlements
- Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect project profitability
- Collaborate with project managers, planning teams, consultants, and clients on commercial matters
- Prepare commercial reports, cost analyses, and project performance updates for senior management
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and project requirements
- Monitor project expenditures and recommend cost saving initiatives without compromising quality
- Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) – Mandatory
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the construction industry
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Professional on high rise building projects
- Strong background in commercial management of MEP works within large scale residential, commercial, or mixed use developments
- Experience handling contracts, claims, variations, procurement, and cost control functions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD – Mandatory
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, commercial management principles, and cost control methodologies
- Knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and contract administration
- Ability to review technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities

About the Role
