Reporting to the Project Director you will lead complex commercial and legal workstreams, drive key stakeholder negotiations and oversee the pathway to financial close. Working closely with technical, finance, procurement and delivery teams, you will ensure commercial outcomes are aligned with project objectives, risk allocation strategies and long-term shareholder value while supporting Australia's energy transition.
Key responsibilities
- Lead commercial strategy, transaction management, and contractual negotiations across all key project agreements to support successful project delivery.
- Manage commercial risk identification, assessment, and mitigation to optimise project outcomes and stakeholder value.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing commercial, legal and transaction team.
- Oversee procurement and supply chain commercial activities, ensuring alignment with financing and delivery objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proven experience leading major infrastructure, energy or PPP transactions through complex commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Strong background in commercial and legal strategy, risk allocation and financial close processes.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence government, financiers, advisors and delivery partners.
