Responsibilities
- Support month end and year end closing activities, accruals, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Support VAT, tax, annual reporting, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain general ledger integrity through reconciliations, journal entries, and account reviews.
- Review invoices and support cost allocation, accrual accounting, and intercompany recharge processes.
- Monitor customer receivables, overdue balances, and collection activities.
- Review blocked orders, credit limits, payment behavior, and customer master data.
- Act as a finance contact for customers regarding invoices, payments, statements, and order to cash inquiries.
- Support partner rebate, incentive, and claimback programs.
- Prepare and improve reports such as open orders, daily sales, customer performance, and sell out data.
- Support regional sales teams with daily operations and commercial activities.
Requirements
- Professional degree in accounting, Finance, Chartered Accountant
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to book to report processes
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial regulations
- Experience in commercial finance, accounts receivable, credit management, and cash flow management
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across regions
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel is preferred

- We are looking for a Commercial Finance & Accounting Specialist to support financial accounting, commercial finance operations, and sales support activities across the Middle East and Africa region.
- The role acts as an interface between Finance, Sales, Operations, Shared Services, and external stakeholders.
- It combines accounting expertise with commercial and operational finance responsibilities to ensure accurate reporting, effective order to cash management, strong internal controls, and business support.
