Description
- AVP Strategy Enterprise and Commercial is seeking a Full time Limited Term Commercial Analyst for approximately 12 months.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Support ongoing management of the commercial agreement portfolio, including tracking key terms, milestones, renewals, financial obligations, and performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate and up to date agreement summaries, registers, and dashboards.
- Act as a first point of operational support for interpreting agreements.
- Coordinate routine agreement administration activities.
- Prepare financial models, forecasts, variance analyses, and scenario assessments.
- Track revenue, cost recovery, and financial performance of commercial agreements.
- Develop regular reporting packages, dashboards, and briefing materials.
- Support institutional budgeting and forecasting activities related to commercial revenue streams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and improve commercial processes.
- Lead or support small to mid sized projects related to commercial operations.
- Document procedures, playbooks, and guidance materials.
- Act as the functional owner or super user for commercial data and systems.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, data analytics, or a related field; a graduate degree is an asset.
- 5 10 years of relevant experience in commercial analysis, portfolio management, financial analysis, or business operations.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and data analysis.
- Experience supporting commercial agreements, real estate portfolios, or long term contracts is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, systems support, or project coordination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or similar reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience working in large, complex organizations; experience in higher education or public sector environments is an asset.
