Responsibilities
- Take contracts/POs post award administration over from Sales Teams and manage contract administration lifecycle
- Administer contract performance to avoid risks leading to disputes
- Monitor and administer business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual T&C
- Coordinate with engineers/operations for progress of work to ascertain contractual obligations/deliverables
- Assist concerned departments and third parties on commercial administration
- Manage issuance, review and approve shipping documents, coordinate flow of shipping and commercial documentation
- Oversee expediting activities for awarded contracts/POs
- Address areas to improve efficiencies of commercial performance risks/deviations to Commercial Manager
- Liaise and coordinate approvals internally and externally
- Maintain commercial process conformity to Company policy, Government regulations and best industry practices
- Send commercial documents and correspondence to/with internal/external stakeholders
- Market research and benchmark analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years contract administration and expediting experience
- Thorough knowledge of industry business practices, legislation, FIDIC forms of contract, contractual language, supply
- Working knowledge of SAP and PC software packages
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional numeric skills
- Ability to manage large, diversified activities with multiple and competing requirements

Role Overview
- The Commercial Administrator supports the Commercial Department by streamlining processes, managing centralized contracts, enforcing stronger governance, enhancing post‑award management, improving commercial acumen, and reducing the division’s exposure to risks.
Responsibilities
- Take contracts/POs post award administration over from Sales Teams and manage contract administration lifecycle
- Thoroughly administer contract performance to avoid risks leading to disputes/crisis between Parties
- Monitor and administer business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual T&C
- Coordinate with engineers/operations for progress of work to ascertain intime contractual obligations/deliverables fulfilled (initiate reimbursement, testing, insurance, bonds & etc.)
- Assist concerned departments (sales, engineering, procurement, logistic & etc.) and third parties on commercial administration
- Manage in time issuance, review and approve of shipping documents, coordinate the flow of all shipping and commercial documentation, including documentary Letter of Credits, insurance, progress payments
- Oversee expediting activities for awarded contracts/POs
- Address areas to improve efficiencies of commercial performance risks/deviations to Commercial Manager
- Liaise and coordinate approvals internally and externally (as may be appropriate)
- Maintain commercial process conformity to Company policy, Government regulations and best industry practices
- Send commercial documents and correspondence to/with internal/external stakeholders
- Market research and benchmark analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years contract administration and expediting experience
- Thorough knowledge of industry business practices, legislation, FIDIC forms of contract, contractual language, supply
- Working knowledge of SAP and PC software packages typically associated with commercial administration
