Role Overview
Collection Officer role focused on managing overdue BNPL and consumer finance accounts in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The role supports timely repayments, customer assistance, account prioritization, reporting, and compliant collections.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.
Responsibilities
- Manage overdue BNPL accounts and follow up with customers for timely repayments.
- Contact customers via calls, SMS, email, and approved digital channels.
- Negotiate payment commitments and follow up on promised payments.
- Maintain collection records and customer communication logs.
- Prioritize accounts based on delinquency, risk, and recovery potential.
- Assist customers with payment issues and coordinate with internal teams.
- Escalate high-risk accounts, suspected fraud, and unresolved cases.
- Prepare collection reports and support payment reconciliation.
- Comply with company policies and CBUAE requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of relevant BNPL or consumer finance collections experience.
- Hands-on experience managing overdue BNPL accounts and retail collections.
- Understanding of repayment cycles, delinquency buckets, and recovery processes.
- Strong Excel and CRM or system skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage high-volume accounts with attention to detail.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic and/or Hindi is an advantage.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and regulatory awareness.
